Product Description
Determination of thermal conductivity is important as it is the measure of how quickly heat passes through given material. Insulating powders are widely used in heat insulation applicationsThe apparatus consists of two thin walled concentric copper spheres. The inner sphere houses the heating coil. The insulating powder is packed between the two shells. The power supply to the heating coil is adjustable. Thermocouples are embedded on the outer surface of the inner sphere and inner of the outer shell.
